1998 - It started with a dream ..

.. with a "Midsummer Night's Dream." A nice start for a text, but if it is to go here about the origins of the Cologne Youth Theatre Ensemble YAA! (Young acting Accomplices) to describe the late nineties, not quite the truth. Because, to be exact, it started earlier, almost two years and countless, sweaty, difficult, joyful and above all, before fluctuating hours.
begin - we met twice a week for three hours of play, experimentation, experience - we were usually not more than five. We, that was a few kids with fun the theater and especially Thomas Ulrich - the one who was then as now, tirelessly, if it was to move young people to play us. But more about Thomas and his huge, enriching work in another text.
the foundation of the group formed at that time three young people, Thomas "took" after his directorial work in child Stunksitzung from there. But soon should change this group, grow, shrink again - always there were new faces, new relationships and opportunities with each other and ultimately was just maybe the best thing that could happen: by the constant and for all the exciting new constellation found in the group a special intensity the working attitude. once again, someone new was there, so this was to show the other drive, what you were doing, that there was to discover something and that this was a special place. Sure must be said that this had not been so, if not the core of the group held the pole for months, if something was mau again, because there were hard times. Yet well I remember, as we have Ebertplatz in the rooms of that time living there, "Arturo" acting school, and rehearsed again and again only three or four of us were. What we should not stop them from trying anyway, or at least going to the movies together.
About one to two years elapsed before the Thomas concrete idea of the piece was conceived. At this time, the dynamics of the group was far different: about eight Spielwütigen, young people - some ambitious, and ambitious, while others with less serious in the matter, but the more devout in relation to group together - were ready, the first joint project to be addressed:
William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. (To be continued ..)

Best Places To Get A Sew In In Memphis
"See, the old has gone, the new has come."
a very eventful year is over. It looks at both positive and negative events and wonders how the next will be. Overall, I'm
very grateful as to what went this year.
I was made clear
that job training does not always together,
that another city probably (still) is not, but believe
take that sometimes radical decisions made must be able to,
that you also stay stubbornly must ,
that God finally puts together but many ends and could arise from many fragments of something like a picture.
2009, I was often on the road. About 9 times I was in 4 different countries at retreats, trainings, seminars, or simply on holiday.
I have visited at least 4 concerts and read 5 books.
2009, I've bought a new car and started running with the Power range. At the Cologne Marathon I took exactly the 6000th Place in the overall standings.
I know the joy and sorrow sometimes very close together. Very concerned and thought I made this year included the death of Robert Enke and Sabine Ball, as well as the serious car accident a comrade hovering for the past 3 weeks in critical condition.
The highlight of the year, but God has allowed some extra time and put it towards the end. Probably characterized by a permanent increase in my annual chart can ;-)
Well 2010 is here and with it a whole bag full of defined goals.
It will happen a lot and I'm very curious where the journey goes.
